Small Voices Louder (in development)

WHAT DOES THE WORLD NEED TO HEAR?

We believe that sometimes, children are exactly what the world needs to hear.

Joyful. Innocent. Playful. Insightful. Critical. Brutally Honest.
They reflect us, don’t they?
And, seed a sense of responsibility for the future.

Small Voices Louder is a two part work.
The first part is an interactive installation that asks children social, political and philosophical questions.

The second takes these recorded answers and delivers them to adult ears through radio and public space.

Maybe Workshops Together

Alex is able to customise workshops to a variety of scenarios. Below are a selection of workshops that can be scaled up or down as appropriate to children aged 5 to 12, families or adults only.

WDTWNTH workshopWhat Does the World Need To Hear?

A live art performance & random act of kindness. Children are facilitated to ponder this question & consider their role & power as a child and human. They create small postcards to leave in venues/galleries/public space & we do a live art performance with megaphones.

presented at Heide Museum, Disrupt Festival, TheatreWorks and various festivals.

Slip your hands under the curtain and let someone tell you a story through only touch.
This sensory experience invites children and adults to both tell stories through a different language.
